Lisa Marie Buster in McCall

Lisa Maria Buster, a popular Northwest contemporary music artist will be performing in concert at Mountain Life Church south of McCall at 6:30 pm Sunday. The concert is free, and a potluck will begin at 5:30 pm. Buster will share with her audience her experiences, strenghts and hopes from the chapters of her life. For more info call 634-3037.

Chili Cook-Off

The fifth annual Cascade American Legion Chili Cookoff and dessert auction will be held Saturday Feb. 24 at the Legion hall in Cascade. Doors open at 5pm and chili entries to be judged need to be on site by 6pm with judging between 6:15 and 6:30pm. Chili will be served to the public after the judging, and the dessert auction will begin at about 7pm. A donation of $4 per person is requested. For more info call 382-3771.

Winter Wonderland

The winter Carnival activity is winding down, but the season is still in full swing with plenty of fun for everyone in the family! The Hunt Lodge wins Grand Prize
in Winter Carnival Ice Sculpture Contest

The warm waters of Australia's Great Barrier Reef were captured in a frozen momument to win the Grand Prize for the local snow sculpture contest of the 2007 McCall Winter Carnival. The intricate sculpture is located at our very own "The Holiday Inn Express - The Hunt Lodge." The scale and complexity of our sculpture was deemed by judges to be the most impressive of the three dozen sculptures entered in the contest which carried the theme "Wonders of The World."
