In January of each year, The week-long McCall Winter Carnival transforms the town of McCall into Idaho's hottest winter spot, and into a true winter wonderland.

More than 20,000 people visit McCall during this carnival, swelling the
normally tiny population with friends and visitors eager to partake in the winter festivities.

Snow-sculpture lined streets welcome visitors to the festivities, which include a world class ice sculpting contest, parades, fireworks displays, sled dog and snowmobile races, snowshoe golf tournaments, a variety show, sledding, ice skating and a Snowflake Ball.
